If you are looking to have a destination wedding at a luxury villa rental, I would strongly recommend Villa Santorini on St. Thomas US Virgin Islands. Various group sizes can be accommodated with 10 guests sleeping at Villa Santorini and the rest in villas very close by.
Convenient Access to St. Thomas
St. Thomas is easily accessed by the Cyril E. King International Airport (STT) and the villa is just a 30-minute taxi ride away. As a United States territory, no passport is required to visit the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Many cities offer direct flights to St. Thomas: Miami, Charlotte, Altanta, Boston, New York, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Houston, Dulles, and Chicago. Flying time is 3-4 hours depending on where you depart from.
The Villa
Villa Santorini is a fully renovated 10,000 SF 5 bed 5.5 bath Greece inspired luxury villa rental. Everything (inside and out) is brand new. All five bedroom suites have king beds and en-suite bathrooms, plus there is a half bath off the kitchen. The 2 principle suites, one on each side of the property, both have beautiful outdoor lounge areas. There is also a large pool (not heated).
All bedrooms, kitchen, and indoor dining room pods have AC. The living room has fans and constant breezes, but will soon be equipped with AC as well. The villa also has a 100% safe SkeeterVac machine that kills 98% of mosquitos and runs on propane.
The Venue
Villa Santorini sits 80 feet up on the cliffs which creates the perfect soundtrack of crashing waves all day and night. There are plenty of outdoor and indoor space for seating areas, which can easily be tented. The blue lighting at night is so beautiful and the built in fire pit adds to the ambience!
The Location
The villa is located in the gated neighborhood of Peterborg on the North Side of St. Thomas. In the morning there are beautiful sunrise views over St. John and the BVI. Just a five minute drive away, is Magens Bay Beach, which in 2021 was awarded “Best Beach in The Caribbean” by the Caribbean Travel Journal.
Rates
The nightly rate ranges from $1785-$2250 plus 12.5% hotel tax and a $750 cleaning fee. There is a 3 night minimum.
