Morukuru Beach Lodge – 5 Bedrooms | 10 Guests
Morukuru Beach Lodge is a luxury 5-suite boutique style eco-lodge in the De Hoop Nature Reserve. Part of Relais & Chateaux, the lodge offers one Honeymoon Suite, two Ocean View Suites and two Ocean View Family Suites, making this a great stopover location for couples or smaller families travelling along the Garden Route.
The beach is a short walk from the lodge, and during whale season (July-October), this is one of the best locations for land-based whale watching in Africa. Other activities offered include mountain-biking, fynbos walks, marine walks, snorkeling and swimming at low tide in protected rock pools, sand-boarding and nature drives.
Morukuru Beach Lodge is off the grid completely, with electricity generated by solar panels and backup generators if needed. All meals, drinks and 2 guided activities (shared with the other guests) are included in the daily rate.
