There is no online marketing of this villa, but since we just toured this incredible property on our recent trip to Cape Town, we were given special permission to share the private 300-acre estate with our closed clients via email.
The History of Leeukoppie and Sol Kerzner
Leeukoppie Estate is the private Cape Town residence of Sol Kerzner, the legendary hotel titan and resort developer, known as ‘The Sun King’. Sol came from humble beginnings and played a pivotal role in the economic transformation of South Africa. From the iconic Atlantis Dubai to the One & Only resorts, he left an indelible mark on the global stage.
Family was Sol’s greatest love which inspired him to create Leeukoppie Estate. This was his place to escape, the place he called home. Leeukoppie Estate remained a hidden sanctuary for decades, hosting hospitality titans, global leaders, and cultural icons in a nature reserve situated beyond the public eye. Honouring a new chapter in the Estate’s history, Leeukoppie is now opening its doors to select, invite-only guests.
An Oasis close to Cape Town
Here you will find an oasis of views, gardens, mountains, forests, and beaches. It feels worlds away from civilization yet remains only a short drive from the vibrant city of Cape Town. Sol’s House – $45,000 Per Night
- Additional Accommodation – The Family House can be added to a reservation for $15,000 per night or the Guest House can be added for $10,000 per night.
